Software Defined Radio (SDR)

FVPL has designed a multi-wave form, generic, universal SDR (MWR) using high performance SDR device, for wide-band frequency operation. The MWR SDR supports multiple waveforms and configurable physical interfaces to virtually meet any functional requirement within given specified SDR frequency range and processing system capabilities.

The top-level waveforms supported by MWR SDR are as follows:

  • HDR Communication (25.0 Mbps)
  • Legacy waveform (AM & FM)
  • Video transmission (SD, HD & UHD)
  • Full duplex Audio communication
  • MANET Radio (Conventional)
  • MANET Radio (LPI combining Block SSM & FH)
  • ADS-B (In & Out)
  • SAR Beacon
  • UAV Payload data transmission (Dual FHD Video, SAR/MPAR, ELINT. COMINT, Audio, WASP, etc., using priority encoder)
  • TCAS & IFF Waveforms
