VME Based Communication Processor

Leveraged on its past experience, FVPL has developed a custom VME board and its associated IPs to meet high performance communication requirements of MALE and HALE class RPAs. The board hardware and firmware are designed to handle flight critical RPA communication needs. Towards this, FVPL has developed certifiable communication IPs to meet the stringent requirement of command/telemetry data transfer between Ground Control Station and RPAs. FVPL has also developed a test bench and generated the requisite artefacts to facilitate Software & Firmware certification.

  • Processing module: Ultrascale+ SOM (K26 SOM).

FVPL has also developed a high performance, non-blocking, custom scheduler with slot performance monitoring scheme using asymmetric processing, required for certification purposes.
